ONLINE LESSONS

MODERN & RCM PIANO

We teach weekly Contemporary / Modern Piano & Keyboard as well as RCM Piano lessons hosted in person at May's Music School in Richmond, BC and online at SonicShape Studio P in Vancouver, BC.

We teach all styles of music using a modern / popular song repertoire that gives the student a level of freedom to choose songs in combination with our song recommendations and requirements, also featuring famous songs rooted in Blues, Jazz, R&B, Country and Classical music.

We also teach RCM Piano from levels 1 thru 8, including all related Repertoire, Etudes, Technical Requirements, Sight Reading, Ear Training as well as Music Theory.

MUSIC PRODUCTION

We teach weekly Music Production & Composition lessons hosted in person at SonicShape Studio M inside of May's Music School in Richmond, BC. By request, we also host these online at SonicShape Studio P in Vancouver, BC.

KEYBOARD CONSULTANCE

Occasionally, co-musicians, artists or/and music industry people hire us to consult, assist or help them improve their skills or technology related to aspects of performing as a Session or Live Keyboardist.

We have done many sessions and lessons related to Sound Design, Apple's MainStage live performance software, the MIDI language and related instrumentally technical aspects, sharing in-depth creative and improvisational insights or doing song analysis, charting and arrangements. We have also consulted on technical aspects of building the ideal keyboard rig, and helping to solve various music software or/and hardware compatibility issues.
